4-23-37 FIGHTING WITH #271 - Davis. This inmate was fighting with Davis, near the rear gate at 2:15 P.M., this date. Report #2008. [undeciph.] Little. Action: To be placed in solitary confinement on restricted diet and to forfeit all privileges until further orders. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
4-27-37 Removed from solitary confinement to regular cell and work assignment, all privileges restored, effective this date. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
6-8-37 FIGHTING WITH ANDERSON-#340, IN LAUNDRY. This inmate had a fight with inmate Anderson; I had to use force to separate them. Report #580 I.B. Faulk. Action: To be placed in solitary confinement on restricted diet and to be reduced to third grade. Would not say what the fighting was about, just a fight, agitating other men to fight. E.J. 6-14-37 Removed from solitary confinement to regular cell and continued in 3rd grade. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
9-4-37 RETURNED TO FIRST GRADE, EFFECTIVE THIS DATE. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
9-23-37 PARTICIPATING IN STRIKE AND REFUSING TO WORK. This man claims that he is not on strike and is willing to work at his own assignment, not on the assignment of an inmate on strike. Report #758, E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden. Action: To be placed in isolation on restricted diet and to forfeit all privileges until further orders. (This man was warned but refused to return to work) E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
9-30-37 Upon his promise to abide by all regulations in the future this man was removed to regular cell and work assignment with continued loss of all privileges and with understanding that no industrial good time would be granted in his case, for the month of September, 1937. 10-10-37 ALL PRIVILEGES ARE RESTORED, EFFECTIVE THIS DATE. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
3-28-38 CONTRABAND IN CELL. When searching this man's cell, found a small knife hid in his mattress. This knife appeared to be an old paring knife. Report #571, E.J. Miller, Associate Warden. Action: Placed in solitary confinement on restricted diet and to forfeit all privileges until further orders. Said that the knife did not belong to him and that he was framed. E.J. Miller, Deputy Warden.
4-2-38 Removed to regular cell and work assignment, with continued loss of all privileges until further orders. E.J. Miller, Associate Warden.
4-9-38 Mail privileges only restored, effective this date. E.J. Miller, Associate Warden.

5-20-38 ALL PRIVILEGES ARE RESTORED, EFFECTIVE THIS DATE. E.J. Miller, Associate
4-26-39 FIGHTING WITH #137 BATES. About 8:30 A.M. this inmate was turned out of his cell to work along with inmate #137-Bates. When they got to the west end of "C" cell block, they started to fight. Officer Daly and myself separated them; neither one seemed to be the aggressor. Report #2660, O.F. Boyd, JR. OFFICER. Action: Continued on next sheet
