| 5-20-38 | FIGHTING WITH REGISTER #292-SULLIVAN. As the inmate were lining up in the yard after 12:30 P.M., I noticed McCain #267, making passes at Sullivan. I went over and grabbed McCain's wrist, in which he was holding a knife and took the knife away from him. Sullivan then tried to get McCain but Mr. Mickelson held him. Both inmates were immediately taken into the cell house by Mr. Boyd and myself. The knife was made out of a solid piece of brass, was seven inches long, with half-inch blade, one inch wide, sharpened on the sides to a razor edge and pointed, handle wrapped with electricians tape.
